These limited edition Mary Janes feature John Everett Millais ‘Ophelia’. A painting carries the artist’s emotions, emotions which otherwise cannot be expressed verbally or written, captured in a moment so fragile that even a single misstep could render it void. Paintings like ‘Ophelia’ represent a rare sensitivity. This inherent delicacy is what we sought to infuse into this style, giving it a sense of permanence, making it go beyond the painting and something more closer to the observer.
